Doctor Biography
Dr. Md. Ali Akbar, an
accomplished ophthalmologist, graduated from Dhaka Medical College in 1980 and
earned a Diploma in Ophthalmology from the University of Dhaka. He further
specialized with MCPS and FCPS degrees from the Bangladesh College of Physicians
and Surgeons.
Dr. Akbar’s career spans over two decades at Islamia Eye Hospital, where he specialized in cataract surgery and glaucoma. He has been performing Phaco & Glaucoma Surgery and related Laser surgeries for the last 15 years. His contributions were recognized with the “Best Doctor Award” in 1988.
Dr. Akbar has attended numerous international conferences and is currently associated with Bangladesh Eye Hospital, continuing his dedicated service in ophthalmology.
